I have a deep passion for cultivating courageous spaces that encourage ALL people of ALL backgrounds to feel welcomed, respected, supported, and valued. I will remain a humble student of yoga as I continue on my own yogic path; while embracing and honoring the roots and tradition of this sacred practice. I experience my yogic practice and offerings as slow and mindful-movement based while constantly practicing self-reflective work to ensure my yogic offerings are from a decolonized and social justice affirmative approach.
My intention for each class is for folx to connect to their breath, feel and enhance self-attunement and self-trust within their nervous systems, and leave your asana feeling more grounded, centered, and embodied.
I also enjoy creating opportunities for free movement, creativity, and dance; with thoughtfully curated music to support and encourage freedom, liberation, expansion, y todo!
When I am not cultivating my student practice, I support my community as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT); as well as spending as much time as I can cooking delicious N.M. cuisine, connecting to nature, and enjoying quality time with my family!
