Rachel Dirks

Rachel defines yoga as a place where life can be invited to take a breath while you engage in active movements and positive mindsets; a decompressing act of self-care and self-connecting. As a mom of three boys, she fondly refers to yoga as her “happy mat.” Rachel’s classes are light-spirited in their nature. She evokes a mentality of non-judgment with a gentle smile. Welcoming all levels, she strongly feels that anybody doing yoga is a perfect yoga body. Rachel received her 200 RYT Yoga Alliance Certificate in March of 2018 through School Yoga Institute in Costa Rica. She specializes in Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative and Yin Yoga. She is a master reiki practitioner and sound healer. Her expression is love, and her teachings are that of understanding, peace, and a bit of humor. She encourages strength and flexibility of the body, mind and spirit. Her goal is to leave you feeling grounded and embraced. It is her hope that in finding your happy place on the mat, you can more easily find your happy place off the mat and in the world.

I Love Rachel’s classes! she’s an amazing instructor! She inspires me!

This is my #1 must-have class every week!! It’s a perfect reset to start welcoming a new week and leave the old one behind. Rachel is a fantastic teacher, always has a great flow for us, and usually also has oracle cards and a great mantra to set the stage for the session. Highly recommend :)
