Elicia Jacobs

Hi, my name is Elicia Jacobs. My passion for movement and helping people has led me down this path of becoming a yoga instructor. I graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and focused on working in the sports medicine field as a certified athletic trainer for the past 18 years. I've always had a holistic approach to physical and mental health and this has introduced me to different methods of movement to keep my body and mind synergized over the years. My yoga practice started out 5 years ago from me wanting to become more balanced while being a busy parent to my three boys and working full time. I fell in love with the calmness it brought to my mind and strength and flexibility to my body. I’m also a certified Pilates instructor, where we focus on core stabiltiy, balance, and breath. I believe these methods of fitness compliment each other nicely, and are life changing when implemented into your health and wellness. My love of helping people brought me to teaching small groups and private sessions helping people connect their mind and body through movement and breath. I'm new to Colorado and I’m enjoying exploring all the beauty this place has to offer. I love spending time with my family going hiking, playing with my dog, or just relaxing at home.
