7 years ago when I moved from my home state of Minnesota to Colorado, I promised myself that I would dive deep into my yoga practice. I started my journey at a studio in Johnstown, in a beginner class and will never forget being told to leave my ego outside of the studio. I learned so much at that studio; my yoga practice has taken me on a journey beyond the physical postures and it truly changed the way that I navigate my way through life. As a lifelong student yoga has become a passion that I feel called to share.

I graduated my 200 YTT in February of 2023 with my incredible teacher Angie Katz and have been teaching vinyasa ever since. With a background in Traditional Chinese medicine, anatomy, massage and shiatsu I love to incorporate fascia flow techniques to my practice. I love helping people get in tune with their own bodies while teaching them how to release stagnant energy through breath and movement.

When I am not working at the yoga studio I work as a caregiver for memory care and hospice patients. Working with the elderly is something I have always been passionate about and it has been exciting to incorporate yoga and meditation into this part of my life.

Outside of my work life I love being a mom to my 2 daughters and 2 golden retrievers. We love to surround ourselves with family and friends as often as possible. I love spontaneous adventures, hiking in the mountains, and staying active but I also love staying cozy at home, baking bread, and hanging with my girls.
